festae sexing?

i know its hard to sex festae at a small size,so im asking all the festae experts what do think now and i will post pics at a later point to see whos wrong and whos right,just a light harted post,they are all around the 3 inch mark,one is around 4 inchs,best of luck

My guess is one female and the rest males. But these guys are notorious for confusing people when it comes to sexing them. It took me a while to sort out my own.

right now they are showing all male/small juvie coloration - 100% un-identifiable, try again next month

I don't see a single Festae in any pic that looks female. All appear to be male imo.

i should have posted more photos of all my festae,i have 12 juv festae,imo i can see 5 females because they are all smaller with pointer heads,atm my camera cant pick up the darkness of the dorsel fin in the 5,i will keep you posted

It's not the darkness in the dorsal fin that I'm looking at, it's the blue spotting. Females only have about 4 or 5 blue spots on their dorsal at the end closest to the tail. Males have the spots throughout theirs. Post the other pics if you get the chance.
