Hi everyone. Some of you may remember how my female festae had a little bit of trouble coloring up. However, I'm glad to say that ever since Halloween, her colors have greatly improved. Maybe it just took a little holiday spirit to bring on those black and orange colors.

wow yeh, her colours are really good now.

wow, nice little bugger. she luks realli good, i believe she gonna turn out to be just as nice as mine ^^

Very nice

Mine is just a little bigger (older) than yours and is starting to get more red. I feed mine Hikari Gold, Cichlid Flakes, Tetra Color Bits, and Frozen Bloodworms and shrimp. She really started to get more color when I added the Tetra Color Bits, my fish go insane for those little things.

Have you ever thought about getting a male for your little lady? I live an hour or so out of Wichita and was thinking about getting a male. I probably should hold off though. I got a convict pair awhile back and got tired of all the aggression and fry. However, I was thinking that true festae fry would be easier to sell or give away.

Great fish!

Thanks for all the compliments.

Here are some pictures that I took today. She's becoming more and more aggressive. Nothing too drastic, just flashing her fins and flaring her gills. Today's victim was the green terror. Her color is looking better every day.
