These are a couple females starting to color out after 9ish long months. These suckers do grow slowly. I have 5 others that havnt shown much coloring. One thing ive noticed is the 2 biggest fish i have are females even though i read that males grow a lot quicker. Either i have all females or this is u true or 2 fish in 2 dif tanks coincidentialy grew alot bigger than the rest and started coloring

Oh ya he has a lot of blue pearling and i think he is the only male out of the 7 considering hes the only one i havnt seen with the lines and he is the only one that will flare his gills and chase other fish. Plywood tank almost done just gotta build stand canopy and order bulkhead fittings run plumbing so will be selling 5 soon, that are probly all female. Hoping by the end of next year i will have my first spawn. Possibly trade a female for a male cause im afraid my huge females will pick on the one i have

if you do sell any pm me im always interested in festaes.

What i find is that they allways tend to be extremely shy and timid....what happened to the GREEN TERROR?

They are 3-4 inches except for one that i expect is a female. Yes they are very shy with me and only come out with me there if there is food in the tank. When i first walk in the room they are out and full of color. I will be selling/trading some of these fish next spring, or if pick up is possible the next couple months. I am in the houston area
