So about a week ago my Festae pair put down eggs and now i have wigglers. My female has been picking them up (eggs) and then spitting them out into one of my fake plants i have. The all of the sudden the egg is jumping around everywhere and i see a tail come out... Cool thing to see!!
This is my Festaes first successful spawn! Female has put eggs down a couple of times but eggs always disappeared guessing she ate them.
But since it is their first successful one i am asking you pros what can i do to help the most fry survive?

Congrats! Glad to see them produce for you! Guess you'll need that tank afterall huh? :)

I'm not a Pro, but there's nothing special you have to do different than raising Convicts, Midas, or Jack Dempseys! Get the fry food ready and keep them well fed so they don't cannibalize on each other.

House64 a Pro, he should chime in, he has fry now!

Just keep up on water changes and treat them like you would the parents. After about the third day free swimming you can offer fry food, I feed decapsulated brine shrimp then graduate to fry crumbles and crushed flake. I like to leave my fry with their parents for 4-6 weeks if I can which allows for maximum growth right away, them move to fry tank of at least a 55 but bigger is always better. Just keep plenty of oxygen and multiple small feedings. I've never experienced cannablism with any of my Festae fry but the weak can and will Parrish. Good luck

Advice from the pro ^
I would feed them NLS small fry starter formula (200 micro particles)
once they are free swimming, and give them that AC110! :)
