Festae with white worm/parasite looking growth

My Festae has a white worm/parasite looking growth on her fin. It is only on one side and looks kinda like a white worm. Can't seem to find any pics with something similar...I was thinking maybe flukes? Here are some pics...if anyone can ID the growth and suggest possible treatment options...that would be awesome. Thank You.

Tough to say from those pics, but it doesn't quite look like a fluke to me. Perhaps it's just lymphocystis?

It could be...if it is lymphocystis though, not many treatment options available. I will just continue to monitor the fish and water conditions. Thank You

No prob. Lymphocystis will almost completely disappear in a stress-free environment. I have seen it on my mayan cichlid before (twice in his lifetime), but usually it isn't present.

Don Conkel once told me "People say that there is no cure for lymphocystis, but I'm telling you that if you put an infected fish in a pond it will disappear!"

He's right to an extent. Fish in a natural environment rarely have visible lymphocystis, although I have certainly seen it in individuals of wild populations before.
