Festae x Umbee

I have a 7" festae female who recently has been spending most of her time in a cave. I also have a 5" umbee, unsure on sex i thought female but the two look to have paired off and i am 99% sure i can see eggs.

Is this even possible. The Umbee turned from blue to white with black fins and a black eye spot on the body.
 
Someone here crossed an Umbee with a rtm or something once. And I think I've seen festae crosses before so I wouldn't say it's impossible.
