Hi guys, I am sure this has been covered many times, but I can't search till 5 posts so I am going to try and get some information. I heard this is possibly the best source for festae information. Basically here is the deal. I have a 80 gallon, but I would like to get a 125 gallon eventually. I'd like to pick up at least one festae, but if a few juvis will last for a while in an 80 I would like to get 6 and pair off eventually transferring the pair to a 125 gallon tank that I have yet to purchase. I have been discussing with jeff rapps about a possible order. If I couldn't make six last till they paired off in an 80 then I would probably go with one wild one and either a suam or salvini or something alon those lines. I had specifically been recommend those two to keep with the festae in the 80 from Jeff Rapps. Anyone have any suggestions for my situation and also how will I know when pair of festae have "paired off"

I have a female that I'm trying to find a new home for. She's about 3-4" you can have her for free if you want her. What part of GA are you in?
 
I love you. I am in Smyrna. I know where milledgeville is sort of. Its a bit of a drive for me, but I'd be willing to take him off your hands or possibly trade you a mayan that has gotten too aggressive for my red devil
 
Lol. How big is your mayan? I might be interested depending on its size. I'm only getting rid of my festae because it's in a 125 gallon with a 7" dempsey and a 6" jaguar and it's getting beat up pretty bad. So if it's big enough to handle those guys then I'll take it.

I go to school down here in Milledgeville and I'll be at home (Snellville) Saturday and Sunday if you want to meet somewhere.
 
Awesome man. My Mayan is about 5" but he is mean as hell. He hates his red devil tank mate and has been beating him up so I am trying to unload him. I'd love to meet up Saturday or Sunday. Feel free to come to my place if you want even. Thanks again.
 
u should be okay for awhile untill your juvies get bigger in the 80 gallon...if you live in ga you should also try ken davis (fishfarm). you will know when they are a pair. they will stick together and breeding colors will show...it will be very obvious...
