Festea Male Famela?

When mature..... females usually show a dark area in the dorsal, like the 2 females directly below.
males "usually don't have dark areas in the dorsal(below)
and when mature, males show much more blue spangling on body and fins. easy to compare below.
Thte jewel cichlid in the tank seems to be showing dominant colors, and status in the tank, its dominant presence may be preventing the festae from showing the proper coloration. Could be temporary as the festae will soon out grow it.
