sorry to be random, but in the one pix there is a catfish in the lower right corner, what species is it? love the oscar, but i am a bigger catfish fan and am looking for a kitty to go with my sa cichlids

Nice O's!

I keep big striped raphaels (p. armulatus) with mine. The Oscar and cats ignore each other. They are also found together in the wild, so it made sense.

the cats are just Arius graeffei, or fork tail catfish, aussie natives.
collected them are few years back.
to see a pic of the parent I stripped, find my thread in the fishing forum, under the title ''A catfish from way back''. sorry i dont know how to make a link. I had nine cats but i decided it would be best to keep just the two and released the rest into a freinds dam.
their both just over 12'' now.
