Few newbie questions about feeding

I should get my first motoro hopefully on next week.

How salt tolerant these creatures are what comes to food? Most frozen shrimps, mushels etc. seems to be precooked in salt. Is that a problem for Rays?

I have my fears for live food having high risk of parasites, are you guys freezing your worms that are collected from nature before giving them to your Rays? I've planned to setup an earthworm colony for winter.

Is there anything I should avoid, such as snails?

freshwater fish = freshwater food

personally i feed mine a mix of different pellets.
but most of them dont eat it straight away.

The can don't mind a small amount of salt in the water.

But before you get your ray, i would read through the sticky's first.
u need to make sure you dont have any exposed heaters, suitable substrate, etc.
