Wondering if anyone knows the genetics on the marble Convicts and how about should I go breeding for more if I don't want to inbreed the siblings together?

If you want more breed for more, regardless. I would breed the marbles then throw in a pink convict with a marble then take the most marble looking specimen from that and breed back or what have ya. Nice convicts by the way.

These still don't have as much marbling on the fins and body like I wanted so it'll be a few more generations breeding.

It's late and I ate too much so I'll keep it short for now.

The short of it is that there is no way to get more marbles unless you breed siblings together. You could add in a regular or pink for out crossing, but you'd still then have to breed siblings together.

If you want me to get in depth about it I can do it tomorrow. If you ask more specific questions it would make it easier on me.

I'm pretty sure the parents of these and their parents, parents are siblings so I'm just trying to avoid inbreeding as much as possible and still get the results I'm trying to going for.

Hey are these the ones you got from me? If so, the parents weren't related at all-- the female came from Kentucky and the male from Alabama.

Nice growing rate on them, btw!

Yes these are the ones I got from you a few months back. Thanks for the info. Going to see if I can find some more from a different source, if not I'll just cross them with regular colored cons and back.
