Tank has been running for 15 months now. Most of the fish are growing up nicely :) I need to fix my background, that is the only thing i regret about setting this tank up is the background, wish i would of just painted the back of the tank. :irked:

Loaches are grade A! Nice spots!

How big do apollo sharks get?

Great lookin fish! What did you use to stick your background on. How long did it last before it started to bubble?

10 inches seems to be what most sources say. Mine are about 8-9 inches currently.

I tried this on the advise of someone at a local fish store, it worked great for about 6 months then started to bubble in the middle. I coated the back of the tank with a thin layer of petroleum jelly, then used a sqeegee to apply the background and pushed all the excess jelly out the sides. Then lined the edge with packing tape all the way around to prevent the sides from pealing up.

If i had a few feet behind the tank i could fix it pretty easily but unfortunately i only have a few inches.

My current idea for a fix is to get a 6 by 2 piece of black felt and use the jelly in conjuction with tape to secure it, was going to do a small scale test on a 10 gallon to see how it looks and works.

Man i wish i would have just painted the back. I didnt want to do anything permanent at the time though and the jelly seemed to work pretty good.

Very nice mate, nice filament barb, i've got 4 5" filaments. Great shoalers.

I love those guys, very cool fish, need to find some more of them, currently just have the two of them, both are about 4-5 inches and fat :)

Sure did! I have two of the erythrurus and one of the macrolepiditus. Very pretty fish, a bit jumpy bit still pretty cool.
