anyone know what kind of pikes these are? the guy at the LFS wasnt 100% sure so he didnt want to tell me the worng kind. i picked up two of them but i couldnt get a good picture of it because he camera shy:irked:

yea deffinitely a sax
what other fish you have in there and how big
ah i see a clownknife in the corner

right now i have my two pikes, a flowerhorn, the clown knife and a few convicts that i use as ditchers for the other fish to pick on since they are pretty tough..

I am getting a either another 75 or a 125 for the pikes after xmas.. leaning more twords a 75..

also whats the average price for a sax? just wondering if i made out good or not

the pikes are around 6-7"
Flower horn 6-7"
Clown knife 6-7"
Convicts range from 2" to 4" or so

tank is a standard 75 gallon with a decent amount of driftwood and clay pots. everyone has there own little area. and i am setting up another 30 gallon tank soon as well.. not to sure what going in there yet

also was wondering is it ussually suposed to be hard to get pikes to eat pellets and other food that is not live? i just saw my guy eat some pellets and freeze dired krill:nilly:. they were being fed feeders at the store.. maybe im excited over nothing

if you can get them to eat pellets thats pretty good
i got mine onto krill and silversides immediately occasionally theyll snap at a pellets and spit it back out when they realize its not meat

Another strong looking Sax. The spangling is excellent.

Indeeders! I have officially decided that I am gonna let you guys fight about IDing Saxatilis pikes, unless I know the collection area or have a definate idear where they are from, they all look like GORGEOUS Saxatilis group pikes to me! LOL! Great times!
