Ok. so i have a 55g with:
3 IT dats @ 3"
1 8" del
1 3" senegal
1 5" senegal

So i was thinking if i get rid of 1 datnoid and one of the senegals, i might be able to house a temensis semi long term. ( 6-8 months tops).

The filtration is extremely powerful, 18X turnover rate.

So i guess what i am getting at is, will the kelberi be fine for that long in a 55g?
Will the kelberi try to eat the IT dats (if bought at like 3-4")?

Thanks

Yeah it probably will. Your dats are pretty small

Like I told you on facebook, I don't think you should get it until you have a bigger tank. 3 indonesian tigers, a delhezi, and a kelberi really are to much for a 55g.. Just enjoy the fish you've got, man. No need to go overboard with it, you just got those fish like 2 months ago.

I'm confused. you want kelberi not temensis right?

6-8 months, you may be fine. Of the four kelberi I bought last year (early february '09) one is only about 7", another about 9", and two that are 12-14". They can be very slow growing. the 7" and 9" are actually in a tank with 3-4" NTT and are doing fine.
