Few shots of a monster fahaka

Went to my LFS today and took a few shots of their monster fahaka they keep. The fish is not for sale, he's in a back room with a couple nice chairs and two other large display tanks for customers to relax in.

The fish is def over a foot long, didn't stop to take too close of a look, just shot a couple pics with my phone and thought I would share them with you all.

aw, I can't wait til my little guy grows up. I was really worried about the inch-per-month growth rate for babies, but now it doesn't seem fast enough.
 
Gorgeous fahaka... always love seeing large puffers...
 
I could take some more shots if you guys want. I go in there quite often.

This fahaka is housed by itself (of course) in tank that seemed like it was at least 4' long by 3' tall... don't know how many gallons. It has a sand substrate and a good amount of live plants (lots of swords), as well as an awesome huge piece of driftwood that forms a cave on the right side.

As far as size, I would guess around 14" long?

It is very friendly, and will come up to the glass if you look in, and follow you around... cute typical puffer stuff.

The store is also home to the biggest fire eel I've seen personally, I believe it's at about 3 feet long, and fatter than my wrist, housed with some bichirs.
 
Do you by any chance know how old this fahaka is??? coz i would love to know how long it took for this guy to get to 14"...
