few shots of the gatf shoal

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i'll have to get some feeders then...they eat pellets mostly now and fillets. that pbass is a pig and it will dominate the main feeder consumption. i'll see what i can do though.

i'll put up the older feeding vid i have and make another. the older one is feeders and the new one i'll make of pellets. the smallest one is still picky about pellets though the other two inhale them!

thanks, the biggest has been about 4-5" in about 3-4. the smallest has put on about 3.5" in the a smaller time frame, but close. the biggest was the last to take pellets, but is now the biggest eater of pellets of the three. at the same time the smallest took the pellets first, but now it doesnt eat to many pellets. it has been a strange road for this group. the smallest also has had more stress then the other 2 so that is a factor with its growth.

How long did you have to starve them to get them off live? My guy's been starved for a week now and still won't touch pellets or freeze dried krill. He's the only one in my tank still holding out. :/ I'm getting worried and I'm about to cave and get some feeders.

+1 looking good man, mine are a little larger and eating silversides, but mine dont like eating larger prey like yours, they'll shred silversides and small feeders but avoid large feeders like the plague haha. Two gatf and a vatf
These pics are about a month old but still growing strong about a half inch per month

as a whole it was about 3.5 weeks for pellets. others were eating pellets before some. that was till the first one started taking them from the surface. the smallest one still wont go to the surface. for fillets i cut them into fish like chunks and they ate them in the second attempt, but the biggest took a week to eat fillets. i did give a few feeders during the process but it was only 1 or 2 per fish every few days. just enought to get them hungry again.
