Home of the brave.
Does any one here think I could get away with housing a florida gar and My KML FH in a 200 G with some other cichlids as well???

Any expierence or opinions are greatly appreciated...

yes the gar isnt going to be a fish that your cichlids would hate. if your fh is really mean then add a couple larger and aggressive cichlids then it. perhaps a large jag and a large festae something like that would probably work. not always

id keep the fh by himself in his own tank ;D

I am more conserned with the gar eating my fish. I have a 7 inch male gt and I am looking for a large female jag and other large cichlids to stock in there. I here the female jags are whores and breed with just about anything it would be awesome if my kml breed with a jag, And yes the FH and GT are both huge a-holes.

would you recomend all males or mix it up?

Only problem with "mixing it up" is if someone decides to breed the other fish may get beat up
