I want to put a 12" Flowerhorn and 10" jag together in my new 350g which will be up and running next week. Can they co-exist in that sized tank? Do I need to put them in there at the same time (difficult for me to time up b/c I don't have either fish yet) or can I put one in and then another in a week or two later? Opinions appreciated. GBG

I had a 13" jag (now 15") in a 300 and he "owned" that tank. I put a 12" flowerhorn in and they flared at each other for a day, and then they were fine. From my experience, you wont have a problem :grinno:

The should be fine, it would be best though to put them in at the same time.

Sounds like a risky situation. I assuming your flowerhorn is male because of his size. I keep quite a few flowerhorns and i also keep a jag. There is no way a would put a busier male flowerhorn in the same tanks as my jag. Jags are agressive, but are seriously lacking in strength in comparision to most aggressive CA. There is noway he can stand up to a flowerhorn bigger than him.

But then again, I have never try housing a flowerhorn with another fish in a tank that size before. You never know it might work.
