FH color

So my FH is starting to grow & I noticed that it's color is weird & ugly. I have been feeding it red & head enhancement pellets, sometimes hikari pellets & blood worms. Is the color normal & part of the growing process??

Looks like its going through a fading process some will stay as they are others will totally change pattern/colour. I'm no expert maybe someone else can chime in.

I've never used the flower horn enhancers on mine. As I've heard mixed reviews, but it's always good to feed a varied diet try some chopped up muscle, prawn and fish.
