Just bought myself a little 3" flowerhorn and plan on growing it out a bit before adding it to the main tank. It seems a bit skittish just now, it's in a 60 litre tank on its own. Any idea on dithers for the little guy/gal? What's the growth rate like for flowerhorns?

Guppies will do or a small blood parrot what ever u don't mind getting killed just in case once it claims its territory its over and growth rate all depends on its genes some grow faster than others even in the same batch of fry

No dithers just give it time to settle in. It's going to be way more interested in you then another fish. Probably not going to be able to add it to any kind of community tank.
That's great. I prefer that style of wet pet myself.
