Search a disease called hexamita, commonly found in discus. Treatment is usualy a chemical called metro in the form of a food if you fish is still eating or a bath if you fish is not eating. Increase the temp in your tank to 86-88 and add aquarium salt 1 tablespoon per five gallons. Then add the metro as directed. Metro will not affect your tanks bacteria base, nor is it possible to overdose the medication. Hope your fish feels better !
My Gt had a long white strings poop i think because he wasnt eating since he didnt lik the pellets i was giving him so i gave him bloodworms and he ate a ton and he had normal brown poo
Your problem is hexamita, it is very common in FH and you can treat with internal parasite meds. Keep on it otherwise your fish will get really skinny. It is an easy fix though so you should be good. Also do more frequant water changes as the is a result of pour water conditions.
