Thanks. How to tell it's male? It turns a little darker but the pearls are more stand out now. Any idea?

Looks good for a zz has a lot more potential than your everyday zz. The bars are due to stress and breeding colors most of the time. I don't want to sex it yet could be either or imo still. If the fishes tube points forward and is fat and round its a female if its tube points backward and pointy its a male. By tube I mean peepee and/or vajayjay.
