I was just wondering if Flowerhorn pellets would benefit Frontosa as much as it does a Flowerhorn. Most flowerhorn foods contain 'high levels of amino acids and fatty acids along with natural pignemts, spirulina and stabalized Vitamin C' which is supposed to bring out their colors and enhance their kok. would these foods have the same effect on frontosa?

Part II: What else could i feed my frontosa to grow them a little faster? my clown loaches are getting bigger than my fronts now.

still wondering, anyone try it? is supposed to improve the kok will it work on a front and c.moorii?

I feed mine alot of night crawlers and live bloodworms!!!!!!!!
His color got better and started grow a tad faster!!!!!!!!

I think a varied diet is the only right answer.. and they will be healthy!!! They grow slow no matter what you feed unless you have an alpha male ..then he will outgrow all the rest..but that is genetics.. with frontosa patience is required!

Well if your looking to brighten up the colors...

spirulina helps with the coloring of greens and blues...
so foods with it like Nls and Dainichi are good ones out there...
But a mix would serve good also..
Just mix it with foods like live food
then switch it up with frozen
and then pellets
a varied diet should do good....

Noone wants to eat the same food everyday....unless:nilly:

hi guys, i was just wondering, what should be the ideal growth rate of a front starting from 2 inches . . . my four 2-inchers took months to get to 4 inches but now their growth rate has picked up . . .anything wrong ??? since its the first time I'm keeping fronts . .

mine has barely grown from 1.5 inch to 2 inches in 1 year but this is due to being last to eat. he only gets to eat the flakes that drift to the bottom of the tank. usually none of the flakes make it to the bottom.
i feed him spirulina and i have noticed blue colors. especially with my green terror. in a week green colors came out.
