so ive had my flowerhorn since it was a fry now about 7 inches he started having long white turds hangin form his butt...how can i help him?

Make sure his water is clean. There is a Garlic that you need to get at you're local pet store that is in liquid formation. You add it to his food, such as frozen shrimp and feed it to him. It will remove any and all parasites from within his system. Follow directions either by the bottle or by what is recommended by you're pet store. Good luck.
if it's not eating and stringy white poo, more than likely hex. Garlic won't do a thing for hex. You will need Metrodidizol antibiotics and I would also use epsom salt 1 tbl per 5 gallons of water. You will have to do 2-3 rounds of treatment more than likely. If you can get him to eat, mix some metro in a tiny amount of water and soak some pellet in the solution and feed it to him, it will speed his recovery if he eats the meds.
