You really can't see the color in this pic, but is it possible that this is a Red Dragon/Thai silk mix? I ask because not much red shows, but he is covered with turquoise specks. I thought it was pearling, but it looks different than pearling in color and formation

Looks like a very dark trimac to me.
I highly doubt a Titanium x RDZZ
Could be ZZ x Trimac or ZZ x Carpintis. Not quite sure. It looks like a trimac, but they usually arent that dark.

Thanks! whatever he is I know he is very young and FH need to mature before their true colors show.....he is quite dark (he lightens up form time to time, but still considered dark) do you think he will lighten up at all?

It's 100% a Red ZZ here, I agree with Cam. Being that dark, either it will fade or I suspect it to be a female. There is a good chance of it being a female IMO.

its will ligthten up for sure, IMO its looks stress after all, no wonder why becase there's a tankmate that bigger than to it.. Its looks the same as the dark flowerhorn i bougth before, after a month she settle in my tank the color is ligthen up, the same things also happen in my fh in my avatar too.. :)

Gothca guys thanks....I believe it is deinately a male though!

Stressed? maybe. he was not that dark when i bought him. at the same time dont let that picture fool you. He is the smallest and new kid on the block (its been just about 2 months since I got him) but he is NOT afraid of anyone! he beats up the oscar that is 3 times his size (not pictured), he argues with the Parrots, has no issues with the monsterous Pacu, nor the albino oscar and chocolate chilid.

Oh the joys of parenting FH's....the excitement to see how they will develope
