FH is being funny please help

i got a blood parrott yesterday and put it in my 120 gal. tank with my male fh. he started to chase it and nip its fins, i took the bp out and put it in my 60 gal tank and ever since i took out the bp my fh seems to be really scared and hides behind the rocks and freaks out when i walk up to the tank. before all of this my fh would swim all over the tank and come greet me at the glass when i would walk up to it....any help with getting him back to the way he used to be would be great.....thanks

id say get some other kind of dither sounds lonely

FH are solitary fish and they mostly do not feel lonely. Sounds like he is scared or freaked out. Try performing a 30% water change and adding some non iodised salt or aquarium salt to the water.. It will help calm him down..

after i did my water change and added the salt my fh is back to his crazy self!!! thanks for the help...
