my question for you guys is can a JD cross with a FH to produce a viable hybrid fish???
also can either cross with a parrot????
lastly how bout a convict????
the reason i ask is so i can best house them in one of my several tanks.
do any of u have pics of the above?

the parrot hybrid can be crossed with a flowerhorn, i know that much.
i've seen them at big al's lol.
i don't know about the other combo.
if your talking parrot cichlids the SA, def no lol.

i should have been more acurate in the naming of the fish........i honestly forgot that i am posting o a site with people who know there aremore that one fish by the name parrot...lol... i am talking bout a blood parrot...sorry peeps!!!

i saw, on another site, a thread about an fh X jd. i think it was fhcraze, but i am not positive. the jd was the female and everyone was talking about how female jds are usually very picky and hard to cross. i tried male jd X female fh. the jd was too aggressive and nearly killed my fh. she is close to the same size as him now. i don't think i am going to try again because, i now have a male fh with the traits i wanted to pass on to the fry.

you can cross convicts with jd though it isnt incredibly common

i didn't see any pics. the guy said that he had fry, but i saw no pics. that is the cross i really wanted to believe in because i love jds and i want to see electric blue jd X flowerhorn hybrids. that is my perfect fish. someone in asia will breed them before too long if they haven't already.
