alright as my sb rd fry from babychris grows, ill be have 40g and 60g thanksfor them permanetley. however im not so sure on filtration. any ideas on filtration for a 40 and a 60?

as long as you have 10X turnover rate your all good brotha, also have the top water aggrivated for oxygen trades in the water.
so for 40 gallon its 400 GPH recommended and 60 is 600 GPH, I would go for a HOB filter so you wont have to worry about having enough oxygen in the tank.

I run 1 hang on back filter (emperor/marineland or aquaclear), 1 sponge filter (the biggest I can find), and occasionally a canister filter on all of my flowerhorns tanks. Make sure to have lots of aeration in the tank too because with flowerhorns you'll want warmer water.
