FH tank size?

Hey guys thinking of setting up my 38 gallon with CA cichlids. I LOVE flowerhorns... could that be done?

if you disagree, what are some good ideas?

38 gallon would not be good for a FH, as these guys get big. How about a breeding pair of convicts? Or a Blue Acara?

too small. there is not a set size. Some would do alright in a solo 55 some in a solo 75

at the end of the day at least a 55 is needed, but if you can get your hands on a baby say from fry to 3 inches or so the 38 should be fine for a decent amount of time say at least a year. maybe more, maybe less depending on your feeding habits

How about a pair Thorichthys Passionis? jeff has some small ones and they are really beautiful as adults.
