FH tankmates???

I just recently saw a video of a FH community tank. they looked fine to me. dont really understand why more people dont do that(i kno the FH are beast)

It's hit or miss. If one doesn't want to get along your community won't work. Not to mention these are fairly expensive fish that aint cheap to replace. Give it a try if you want just be prepared for a blood bath at any time.

I think if you have a big male to control the pack it might work...but i not gonna put my 6" ZZ red male in a tank with others hes my GL charm plus hes fine in my corner shot 75er. I'll probbally start from scratch and buy a 4-5 inch male and throw a 4-5 smaller FH's(hopefully differnt strains) with him prolly in my 100 gl might have togo bigger prolly 200+ and just introduce new FH's every few months...IDK if you get them small not to expensive. In the event you get a Fiesty FH or maybe a few of them might have to look into moving him or her out the tank and or sell it.
Plus I just got 4 Rose Queen FH the other day just might work and there all alone in my 100...who knos

Because its over stocked. It's difficult to fight with that many fish tightly packed. IMO Cichlids kept with other fish loose there personality, they just become another nice looking fish in a tank. Maybe that was just my fish.

I agree. If I could start over, I would get only 1 fish for my 230 gallon.

Im pushin for the tank in the living room to be full of fish and have my good fish in a seperate tank. Like I have right now i have a 180 i just got I have only 4 rose queens in them bout to get a 4-5 inch FH and then get 4 red dragons at the LFS for $7.00 and keep my out for other types...
they got this bad boy for sale for $40 should I get him/her
