2. no, get at least 100g if you can.
3. i would go w/ bare bottom if you could. if not, blue and red seem like a popular color combo.
4. looks like a red dragon.

Did you say you got it for $80? Dude, you are in Rowland Heights right? Change the gravel into something lighter and come down here near Long Beach and you can get a much better FH for less than $100 guaranteed....if not, I'll give you one.
 
Not sure about the sex, to me it looks like a very female looking male(not a good thing at all).

You need to change out the gravel to a lighter color, it's turning dark.

I will be straight up honest with you, you got REALLY ripped off.(sorry)

It is a ZZ, most common FH species.

Yeah dude, $80 is abit too much. If its a female, then she is decent, otherwise, its a eh for him. I agree with terminal, get different substrate color gravel to imporve his/her color.
 
brighter the subtrate more color the fh will show. or else its just gonna stay dark.

Its a ZZ malau... (most likely a male) because of the fin...

I know cuz i've seen this fish at Nolans... I would have recommend going for a smaller fish or even get one from small and grow it out.. FH frys are 2 bucks ea and u can get a huge variety...

Sorry man.. but hey fish keeping is a learning process.. just konw that FH in LFS aren't necessay the greatest price and usually they rip you off..

If ur ever interested.. I can sell u some for like 5 bucks.. but i think your well overstocked.. ur 60 gallon isn't design for so much fish..
