Hello, I was searching for a big enough female for my 10" fader kamalau for a long time. At last today I found a 8" nice female blood parrot. I am planning to breed them in the following weeks. My question is, if it is possible to get fertile males from this cross, is there anyone who have seen a fertile fh X bp ? Also, if anyone can add a photo of grown up fhXbp cross , I know they are referred as low quality kamfas but I dont remind how they look like.

Here's some pics I found of kkp x flowerhorn. This fish was fading though.

The second pic I think was from synspilum x bp but I think you could expect this aswell from the spawn.

Thanks, my fh is not short body but it is a very stocky fish. I have found a video of a batch of grown up fhXbp, but they all have white eyes. Hope I end up with some red eye males.

I know red eyes doen't always mean fertile but white eye hybrids almost every time sterile. So having red eye fry from a bp×fh spawn has a better chance of getting fertile males. in other case i will only use females come from this pair. The other pair for my project is very pearly bonsai male fh×short body female carpinte. I am raising about 500 sajica juvies at the moment, as soon as I get rid of them I will start the fh project so i still have time to find a better female for my fader, I would prefer a fader female fh but it is very hard to find in my country.
