[fish meat]

just got my female today it has alot of pearl like the male. how do i know its a female, will there a black spot on the dorsal fin. i post up pic of both of them. one more question, what size or age do flower horn start spawning, how will i know they are ready. how often do they spawn.

Age of spawning depends and differs on the strain but say zz's for instance can breed at very young age 2.5'' As for when you will know. Well if it is female the fish will start laying eggs. Other than that only trial & error threw attepts will tell you. Good luck
