FHxBP sterile?

You wouldn't be able to do that cross anyway since 99.9% of blood parrot males are sterile. However, if you took a female blood parrot X male Flowerhorn then the fry would still come out fertile.
 
I think part of it would depend on what type of Flowerhorn but you would get very few and there no telling which one would be fertile. Need to get a Midas to cross with a BP to get fertile parrot fry.

not 100%.if you want fertile male fishes,pick those red eye ones from the school of fries.it is because some of the fries (male) will have the genes from the female bp and most of the time,high percentage of the fries will look like the female (mother fish)...just my humble point of view
