I just found these tanks on the 'net. They're fiberglass which means they'll provide better insulation than polyethylene or ABS AND they can have windows cut out for the placement of regular plate glass with silicone (just like the large older exhibits in public aquaria). These stock tanks will also outlast the plastic less expensive tanks.
Not a bad deal at this site which offers the FB tanks for less than $1 per gallon.
