Fibreglass tank colour options?

Long story short, I was going to buy a pair large 400gal glass tank for my Rays, however am going travelling for nine months.

So I need an easy and relatively inexpensive option to a) upgrade and home them in and b) to transport to family's house as they will look after when I go, without risk of breaking etc when just about to go away.


Plan is a fibreglass tank with window, as attached, which is 2metre x 1 metre x 1 metre. As can get these for around £700 and are an easy move to two people and virtually indestructible..

But can't decide in colours, I keep Leo's and marbles.


Either black or white inside?

If you were keeping primarily Aros I would say white. But you have Black rays and they look fantastic against a dark background. that's my opinion.

For the black diamonds black for the marbles white. One of each?

white base is the most ideal for both leos and pearls. well that is if u prefer pearls with a lighter tone aka what some ppl call white pearls. i never did like black base for leos because it's simply too dark.. white base contrasts perfectly with the blackness of leos.

I would consider blue.i am really happy with how all my rays look over blue. I have found white shows up and dirt and algae and i also find black to dark with black rays.

Thanks, that is extremely helpful to see them all together side by side.

Think I am leaning toward white atm, but still like the black.
