im making my first ply/fiberglass tank, 1200mm x 600mm, 50x25mm framed with 12 mm ply massively overbuilt with 12mm glass. and its gonna have my amazon tank on top hence the overbuild, hopefully i will post some pics later cuz when i say overbuilt i mean it lol you could stand a car on it and it aint gonna break a sweat.

i have no clue on what type of fibreglass i need for the internal.
woven roving??
cut strand matt ???
how many layers ???

any and all help will be greatly appreciated thanks guys.

Use cloth instead of roving or mat. Cloth is stronger over flat surfaces & takes less resin to wet out. Easier to work with for the beginner & works with epoxy or polyester resins.

Another reason to avoid mat is because many think it's more likely to allow moisture penetration.

I'll write more later when I'm at my computer.
