Does anyone have any information on keeping fiddler rays? I have never kept one before and I was wondering if they have any special requirements. I know the generals such as size, diet, and where they live in the wild. Anything else?

I've never known any hobbyist that kept Trygonorhina fasciata since they reach over 30 pounds. However, they're estuarian rays that can tolerate variations to salinity. And, like other Dasyatidae rays, these probably also have huge fluid transfer rates (water intake/urea output) requiring pristine water conditions.
Agreed. They aren't very hardy at all. You'll really have to watch the water q on that system. Lots of small waterchanges to keep it stable. They do tolerate a wide range of salt, but swings aren't taken to very well at all. They seem to not tolerate tank mates well at other insitutions, but I guess we'll have to find out.
In twenty years, after I know what I'm doing with saltwater, I would live to have a fiddler ray. I have just started w/a small FW tank so have plenty of work ahead of me.
