Today I addede 2 IT's and one NTT in our main 5000 liter tank. They are all around 10-12 inch.

The started "fighting" directly, but no damage is being done (yet). The question is how long can I look before I have to take action and separate them?

If nescessary I can separate them and put them in separte 700 liter tanks, but together would ofcourse be the nicest :)

Please let me know what you guys think?

looked up some of your threads.. love the tank and the rays!

with 5000 litres you shouldn't need to worry.. if one of them wants to hide it will and they have to establish dominance. unfortunately some are real bastards and doesn't know when to stop so watch them for noticeable damage.. I think they will settle down in a couple of days but if they don't.. ..separate.. 700 litres (I guess the standard 2x60x60) will do just fine..

They will get over it. They are in a new tank so its going to happen. Get more and they will relax more. I had 17 together and they only fought alittle.

So there are 3 dat's in one tank? If so, then the two dominate one's will pick on the weaker one. IME, Even numbers passed 3 will minimize fighting.

I agree

nothing to worry about all tigers fight they wont kill each other a little bit of fin damage at most

the NTT should be the most laid back

The IT's fight the most. Indeed the NTT is the biggest and stays very cool.

No damage has been done at all and the fighting is minimal now. So all's looking good :)

Hope to add more to the group soon.
