More information required plz, like tank size, bp size but yes BP's do like to fght amungst each other

I take it you ment "can't close their mouths"? Well no they cant but they can still draw blood, trust me. They can still grab hold of each other lip locking style which means they can still do serious damage. BP's have been know to kill far bigger fish than themselves before.
I was actually trying to get my female to bite the back of my hand today but shes a bit of a pussy compaired to my origional female bp.
Got a 55g the blood parrots are new, bout 2in in size, and i have four of them. They share the tank with a large apple snail, and 3 albino cory cats. They usually tend to be friendly to eachother. but they have been doing the lip lock thingy, nobody seems to be hurt thus far. but they seem so... mad.
