There are a few possibilities:
- Add more visual barriers so they don't always see "the competition"
- Add dither fish to distract the more aggressive dat
- Add a few more dats. One of my dat tanks has 10 Indos in it and there is almost no aggression at all.
More dats for sure....it's best to either have one by itself, or a group of four or greater so aggression is spread to the point that it's no longer damaging to any one fish specifically.
Dats don't do very well in pairs add more! Although there will still be agression. I've got 10 Indos together and they do still bicker among each other.
add more dats plausible...fish of the same species generally dont do well in pairs, it should be one or more never 2 unless they are a breeding pair IMO...you can also add some dithers..
Strange my 10 inch tigers dont fight :s but they do love to dash at my finger lol. i have 2 10 inch tigers , 1 5 inch del , 1 3 inch pleco n one snail. all in one 20 g. btw dont start wit the tank is too small idiot speech. i already heard it. its a temp tank.
