I have just brought 4 pb been about 4days they are all doing good but just chasing each other around is that normal?? Are they fighting for there ranks in the tank?? They are only 2.5inches.

Yes it's normal they are trying to establish a hierarchy.....they should be fine but if they get too rough try adding dithers.
 
Hahaha good use of xzibit, for sure add some dithers ive seen some pbass fights go pretty badly for the smaller guys

They have worked it out a bit still chasing each other out of there spots. Tried to put some dithers fish but they just ended up being feeders haha.they are pigs for pellets.

I nicknamed my young one as Kimbo. He made a hole in my astyanax belly, that I could see his organs. Yesterday I separated one of my three adults, cuz she was harmed losing scales and fins becuz of fights. Three adult in 300 gallons and still fights happens
