Has anyone ever kept figure 8 puffers in very high end brackish to full marine water??, with any success

A decade long study by a pufferkeeper of 50 years has determined that F8 puffers do best in hard, alkaline FW or a BW SG of 1.005. His lived 18+ years.

i have. in full marine...nothing much over 1.024 though

i had a 29 which salinity has skyrocketed which i wasn't too sure how that had happened...(possibly hydrometer got stuck)

anyways they stopped eating and looked lethargic until i brought them back to "normal seawater". my ex had them but im sure sold the tank since she moved to cali

I really would love to hear of one that lived into their late teens, as they will in low-end BW.

i keep my 2 f-8's at 1.006 sg in a 29 gal. good luck so far. from what ive read i dont think its a good idea to go much higher then 1.015 sg.
