Figure-eight Puffer

I know as adults these guys are ideally to be kept in brackish water of about 1.005, but I have read in a few places that people have successfuly kept them in full marine conditions. Has anyone on here tried this? I would love to hear your experiences with them.

For the longest lifespan of a healthy F8, low-end SG of 1.005 is highly recommended.

yea well my Green spotted is at 1.10 they are doing just find. they are about 1.5 inch, ( I kno there not the same fish but heck i thought it would help).

But Puffer Punk Knows best.

Green spotteds are different than the Figure 8's. I know Green Spotteds do fine in a marine tank as adults. Both species do require brackish though.
