It was pointed out to me that i have a Ven,Pike.I would like to know about how big i can expect him/her to get,plus possible temperment towards tankmates as he/she grows.Thanks

There the largest SP of pike males are said to get up to 20'' females smaller they grow fast to

I've heard they get pretty nasty but more and more people are telling me that the are pretty peaceful i've only kept one and it was pretty peaceful so i'm learning its un common for them to turn aggressive
 
Should be pretty laid back for a while at least. Depends on what you keep it with. Sometimes they can really lay the smack down. Nothing like a cincta though in their aggression. They are a pike though, so they aren't to be trusted with delicate species. :(

Should continue to get larger. Around 14" the growth should start to slow down, but shouldn't stop. :) Good luck with it! Tis a gorgeous one! Probably the best looking one I've seen so far! :) Love the purplish tint! :)
 
good to hear it can be hard to get them to eat pellets
 
I got mine at 4-5 inches in December, and now it is at 12 or 13 inches. Check out my stock list in my sig. My Ven gets in small quarrels with my Jag sometimes, but that is about it. He/she is a pretty peaceful towards the tankmates.
