filstar xp3 vs fluval 404

I have never had the fluval, but ive had 3 xp3s. I initially bought two and one never worked right (it didnt seal somewhere and spit bubbles) so i returned it and the replacement worked fine for a couple months and started doing the same thing. The other one has worked fine and i still have it running on my 125, along with an fx5. The priming is a bit of a pain, but not a deal breaker. If you get them when theyre on sale ( I think I paid eighty something each with a petsmart price match) they are a good value. However I should point out most people dont have any problems so I'm a bit of an exception I believe.
i'm confused man... a few days ago you were asking what to get for filtration for a 75, then you said you got a fx5 for it. earlier today you said that you had gotten an xp3, and now tonight you're asking about another filter. do you have a filter yet or not?
