I have a young Peacock , and 2 Red Bay Snooks that willl be in a 180gal. in a couple months. I've spent months going back and forth trying to decide on what type or combinatiion of filtration to use that will be more than enough to keep up with the massive about of waste these fish produce. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I hope I can get some advice from people that have these big fish.

FX5 for sure

Another FX5 vote. If not that an eheim and a HOB

I'd go custom. A WD and a integrated or separate mechanical filter (e.g. OceanClear or Generic Filter Housing).

You will need bio more than mech, but both are important. A sump with a baffle filter would also be nice (that is the kind with the multiple sections separated by baffles that can be filled with media). Such a filter can provide excellent low maintenance mechanical filtration as well a biological filtration. If set up properly it can even be a wet/dry filter.
