Ok i have recently been doing some looking on youtube on how to better filter my tank. I was told by a friend to get a charcoal reactor to help with the clarity of the water and possibly help with the light tanning problem. Anyone use a charcoal reactor on there tanks?

Next i seen some video of fluid sand filters. Anyone use these and how effective are they. Looks like they would work amazing myself far as filtering/ polishing the water. Looking into building these things for my tank/sump

My tank is a 400gal freshwater with 75gal sump( coarse mechanical and some very fine filter pads, then a wet dry area full of scrubbies, and a refigeum section not used yet and the pumps.)
