had a cheap hob filter fail on my 88 lt grow out tankI had a bag of seeded media in the filter I have put 2 small sponge filters in there with the bag of seeded media hanging in front of one them to get some flow through until tomorrow will that be ok to keep the bacteria on the seeded media alive.

That's about the best you can do. It should be OK from one day to the next.
