So I bought a vial of brine shrimp eggs, with the intention of hatching them out, and feeding them to my dragon goby as a wholesome snack.

Now I have 2 (1 cup) scoops of brineshrimp and water, out of the 10 gallon tank I hatched a tablespoon of them in.

What is the best way to offer these to my goby? Turn off her filter and toss a pellet in, waiting till she starts filter feeding before dumping the little buggers in?

If I don't get a response soon, I'm going to see what I can do, and let y'all know how it goes!! Thanks for reading!

That is how I would do it. The filters will suck up the brine if he doesn't eat them quickly. Once he gets used to them, he will probably tear them us as soon as they hit the water. Then you won't have to worry about the filters.

That's what I did, and I couldn't tell if she got any of them or not, but she was filtering the water at one point, so hopefully she got them!!

No, she's more partial to grey poupon ^_~

I did a water change, and when I did, I added about a half a gallon of water from the shrimp tank (this served dual purpose, since I'm outta salt) and dumped the water and shrimp in, and watched her gulp water for a minute before I plugged her filter back in. I also took a couple of shrimp pellets and moistened them, rubbing them between my thumb and forefinger to grind them up, as well as an algae wafer.
